iProperty Admin As one of the sponsors Fyson & Associates were thrilled to be a part of the recent visit to Kalgoorlie-Boulder by the Hockeyroos. During their visit the Hockeyroos held hockey clinics for junior players and school children, a coaching workshop for senior players and an umpiring workshop. The highlight of the weekend was an exhibition match on Friday, 10 May played between the Hockeyroos and a selection of Eastern Goldfields Hockey Association players dubbed the “Goldfields All Stars”. Entry was a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The Hockeyroos wearing their pink NBCF uniforms made a colourful splash whilst at the same time reinforcing the importance of the fight against breast cancer.
As a part of the evening a silent auction was held to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Fyson & Associates were pleased to secure one of the main auction items, a fully autographed and framed NBCF Hockeyroo uniform which is now prominently displayed in our reception!
The visit was highly successful, the Hockeyroos are fantastic ambassadors for the sport and the NBCF, so we hope to see them back again next year!
